Try this simple healthy recipe filled with chickpeas, spicy paprika, cumin, tahini and loads of fresh, Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil (AEVOO) for the perfect afternoon treat or lunch on the go!
¼ cup classic AEVOO
1 can chickpeas, rinsed
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 tsp ground cumin
¼ tbsp paprika
Mix ingredients with a mortar and pestle or a food processor until combined.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the paprika.
Serve with carrot, celery sticks or homemade crackers.
